LEVELS OFFERED:
Level 1: For children who are at least three (3) years old. There are no prerequisites for this course. The objective of this course is to help students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely.
(Monday and Wednesday | 5:15-6 pm or 6:15-7 pm)
(Saturday | 9-9:45 am or 10-10:45 am)
Level 2: For students who are able to float on their front and back unassisted, as well as pick up a submerged object under water at arms length. They should also be able to roll from front to back and back to front. This level will build the foundation for true locomotion skills in the water.
(Monday and Wednesday | 4:15-5 pm or 6:15-7 pm)
(Saturday | 9-9:45 am or 11-11:45 am)
Level 3: For students who are able to swim on their front and back. This level will focus on stroke development.

(Saturday | 10-10:45 am)
Level 4: For students who have a level 3 certificate and are able to demonstrate front and back crawl, tread water, and can enter the water head first from a sitting position. This level will introduce additional strokes.
(Monday and Wednesday | 7:15-8 pm)
(Saturday | 11-11:45 am)
Level 5: For students who have a level 4 certificate and are able to demonstrate a basic understanding of front and back crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, butterfly, and sidestroke. This level will focus on refining these strokes.
