Reservations can be made for Bennett Park and beaches. Shelters can be reserved on Saturday and Sunday at the rate of $15 per four-hour rental. Reservations can be made free of charge Monday through Friday. Set-up and clean-up must be completed within the reservation times. Reservations are not allowed on holidays and holiday weekends. When there are no reservations, shelters are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Property owners may bring up to 25 non-property-owner guests, plus their "family unit" during a reservation.
Bylaw 1.7 states "Family Unit" shall be defined as an individual or married couple who hold title to a lot, and any dependent children of each who currently qualify as IRS income tax exemptions or are legal wards of, and currently reside with, such title holder."
When the reservation time has expired, guests will be subject to AVPOA rules and regulations (10 guest per family unit). There is no guarantee that a lifeguard will be on duty at beaches diring scheduled reservations.
Property owners must register at the Administration Office. Registration will be honored upon completion of the appropriate registration form and payment in full, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Forms may be completed in person, by fax, or by email. You may view/print or download the form below.
