All building plans or construction of any kind upon any lot must have prior written approval by representatives of the Association (detailed in the Architectural Control Rules and Regulations)

Approval is obtained by completing the appropriate forms and submitting them to the office of the Association. A completed application packet submitted at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled Architectural Control Committee meeting will be considered at that meeting. In compliance with the Restructive Covenants, please allow thirty (30) days for processing.

 

MOST IMPORTANTLY: The Property Owner's Signature is REQUIRED as well as the Contractor's on the backside of the Form 100.
PERMITS & INSPECTIONS ARE A MUST (Please see below). Fines will be issued to those without them.

 

AVPOA Permit Fees:
• Repair and Replace of Existing Sturctures 
         (Examples: Boat Dock, Deck, Stairs, Roofing, Siding): ......................NO CHARGE 
          BUT a PERMIT is STILL REQUIRED and MUST BE POSTED

Dwelling* and Garages**........................................................80¢ per sq. ft. - Caps off at $1,000.
          Restrictive Covenants: Article VII - Building and Use Limitations
         *Dwellings require a Compliance Bond. (Max height 2-1/2 stories or 35' measured from the basement floor)
       **Garage must have full perimeter foundation. (Max height is 20' measured from lowest footer).

• Room Additions.............................................................$100 refundable deposit* and a $55 pemit fee.
        *$100 refundable deposit is available after a final AVPOA inspection is completed.

• Boat House (Utility Building)................................................$100 refundable deposit* and a $55 pemit fee.
        *$100 refundable deposit is available after a final AVPOA inspection is completed. 
          Must be wood or vinyl NO metal.
          (Smallest: 10'x12'; Largest: 10'x18'; Max. Height of 12'). Anything larger than 180 sq. ft. must have
           full perimeter foundation, which would fall under Garages (see Garage permit fees above).

• Fence...........................................................................$100 refundable deposit* and a $55 permit fee.
        *$100 refundable deposit is available after a final AVPOA inspection is completed.

• Pet Encloser....................................................................$55 permit fee (Max. of 10'x10' - Max. of 6' tall)

Tree Removal (anything over 2" in diameter)............................NO CHARGE
          BUT a PERMIT is STILL REQUIRED and MUST BE POSTED
         
Vacant lots can not be clear cut. Only lots that have submitted house plans and are approved
          may be cleared.
